Mathias Andersen is 22 years old and lives in Tøllose — close to his work at Aluline.
He started as a EUX student in industrial engineering five years ago and after graduation was offered permanent employment.
“I started as a student five years ago and graduated last summer. When the opportunity to stay came along, I didn’t hesitate. I’ve felt at home here from the very beginning, and I’ve been given strong training and plenty of opportunities to grow.”
For Mathias, it has meant a great deal that Aluline has shown trust in him and given him the freedom to try new things.
“I’ve been trusted with responsibility and given the opportunity to take on new tasks. You can really feel that the company invests in you. I’ve attended trade fairs, taken part in continuing education — and I’m now about to begin an evening course in economics and management.”
Today, Mathias works as a machine setter and coordinator for Group 2, ensuring that both machines and colleagues work in harmony and that production runs as it should.
“I step in and coordinate whenever issues or changes arise during the day. It’s about keeping everything running smoothly — and it’s great to have that responsibility."
But it's not just career and learning that make Aluline a good place for him.
“I have a very good working relationship with both colleagues and management. There is a flat structure and one can always ask for help. I feel safe here and that means a lot.”
Cohesion plays a big role in Mathias’s everyday work.
“Community, community, community — that’s probably the best way to describe Aluline. There’s a strong connection between operators and setters, even though we have different roles. There’s always room for a laugh and a good sense of camaraderie.”

He smiles as he talks about the mood at work:
“I like when you work intensely on a task but can still joke and have fun. It makes everything a little easier.”
For Mathias, development does not stop here. He is looking forward to learning more and perhaps in the long term taking the leadership path:
“I'm looking forward to trying my hand at leadership and coordination — and seeing where it can lead. The cool thing is that here you get to grow if you show that you want to.”
