My name is Mehmet. I’m 52 years old, a father of three, and I live in Holbæk. I’ve been part of Aluline since 2014. I don’t usually stay in the same place for long — but this is different.
I enjoy hands-on work and knowing that what I do is done properly. It’s meaningful to see the quality of the finished result for yourself. At the same time, it’s a workplace where you can grow. Even without formal training, I’ve learned many new skills and been given responsibility for tasks I hadn’t tried before. Being trusted — and given the opportunity to grow with the role — means a great deal to me.

One of the best things about Aluline is the culture and community. We help each other and there is always someone to ask for advice. In the canteen we can talk about everything — both work and life outside. A lot is done to ensure that we have a good time together — small events, parties and a good atmosphere in everyday life.

As a father, it means a great deal to me to have a job that makes room for family life. There’s flexibility and balance here, allowing me to make everyday life work — both at work and at home. It enables me to be the father I want to be, while still doing a job I’m proud of.
