Linda Jørgensen has worked at Aluline for 26 years.
She began her career as a CNC operator and is today a key member of the anodising department — as well as the elected employee representative for her colleagues. For Linda, it has always been essential that her job fits alongside family life.
“When our son was about to start school, I moved to reduced hours. I simply couldn’t make it work if I had to start at seven in the morning. Being able to drop him off properly mattered to me — and Aluline found a solution.”
For Linda, that flexibility is a major reason why she is still with Aluline after so many years.
“There’s room here to be who you are. You can reduce your hours, try something new, or move to a different department if you need a change. That means a lot — especially when you have a family.”
But it’s not just about flexibility. Linda describes Aluline as a workplace where you truly feel part of something bigger.

She smiles as she talks about the small initiatives that make everyday life both easier and more enjoyable.
'We have ten minutes of exercise during working hours, and even if it might sound a bit silly, we laugh together and have fun. It really adds to the sense of community..”
